The Unveiled Way Way
So often when we step outside our comfort zones it’s when we get to see what’s possible for us.
I’ve recently returned from a 16-day family trip in Trinidad and for the past few days, I’ve been processing a few of my experiences.
One that stands out to me is my openness to venturing to new places and spaces which on the surface seemed out of alignment yet I felt called to go.
I ended up seeing land my family has had for decades that I had not seen in 20 years—land that used to supply us with a bountiful supply of fruits and vegetables of all kinds (oranges, grapefruits, avocados, mandarines, bananas, etc.) in addition to cocoa, arguably the main crop.
After all it was a cocoa estate where at one point we used to prepare the cocoa to be sold to generate additional sources of income.
Sadly, with my father’s death over 30 years ago, we lost a lot of those revenue streams and now the land is practically abandoned. But it’s still our family’s land. And there I was, a couple of weeks ago looking at it from afar, asking the Lord what was His plan for this.
What I had not anticipated was visiting two other cocoa estates during my trip, and seeing all the myriad ways cocoa can be used to create chocolate, cocoa tea, body butters, nibs, powders and SO much more. In fact, I met someone whose passion is purpose is revitalizing the cocoa industry in Trinidad and the surrounding islands.
I kept being open to what was available to me, even going on a tour to learn about a new type of farming (syntropic farming) that helps plants and trees thrive because they’re in the right environment.
I have no idea where all this new information and unveiling will lead me. But I know that none of these experiences were “coincidences.”
This is the journey of The Unveiled Way.
The Unveiled Way is a marathon and not a sprint. It is a journey of unveiling and evolving into the leader you need to become to make your impact.
· A way that allows you to express your deepest gifts and stand fully in the truth of who you are.
· A way that trumps faith over fear.
· A way to show up exactly as you are leveraging the full expanse of your gifts, talents, and superpowers.
· A place where your vulnerability and authenticity as a leader matter.
· A way where you are curious and willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone to get to your designed destination.
· A way where you know you have the agency and authority to design your life with the guardrails and God-rails you need in place to flourish, thrive and soar.
· A way where you understand your limitations/shortcomings but see them not as carved in stone but as growth edges for you to get past to your next level version of yourself.
· A way that allows you to be the brilliant, magnificent star you are!
