Give Your Personal Brand a Boost

Personal branding is a thing I’ve been passionate about for years! 15 years ago as an active image consultant, I would give talks and workshops on professional presence and personal branding with a purpose and help my clients use their wardrobe to punctuate their brand promise. Just look at my LinkedIn endorsements to see how high personal branding ranks. Yes, it’s been a common thread in what I do.

Another one of my talents has been my finesse in helping people transform their resumes into personal brand manifestos. This I’ve not really done as publicly. I’ve done it for a friend here, a colleague there, a client here and there.

But with the job market in a tizzy like it’s been lately, a few of my Unveil Your Brilliance clients have solicited my help with rebranding their resumes. And they’ve been beyond thrilled. I don’t believe in coincidences, so I think it’s a sign that I need to roll this into my offerings more visibly.

What I call my Resume Rebrand is not your typical resume though and it’s not just me using my love of words to make your CV pop (nothing about me or what I do is ever cookie cutter!)

Have you ever heard of a functional resume? Look it up, it’s a thing and it’s been a thing for decades. But what blew my mind is that my clients had never known that was an option that existed for them.

This is THE option for many of the high-achieving, game-changing women of impact and purpose that I love working with. This format lets you focus on your brilliance and not your titles, your gifts, and not your responsibilities, on you and not the companies you worked for or with.

If you need a resume that gets you excited when YOU see it and one that gets you to tout the many ways you bring your brilliance to the table, DM me.

But be clear. I’m not a resume writer. What I do is help you use your resume to build your personal brand—that is the heart of my Resume Rebrand.

Like me, you’re gifted with multiple skillsets, superpowers, and secret sauces (see what I did there?). And I think we’re meant to leverage our full brilliance in service to our sphere.

Harnessing the power of your personal brand is one way to do this. And your resume is one of the tools. Feel free to read more HERE.
