I’m so grateful for ALL the support from folks who are helping spread the word and love for It’s Your Time to Shine Girl this week.  

One of my clients said to me recently. "Natalie, my gut says your book It's Your Time to Shine Girl, will do really well and bless SO many lives. But it's going to be a slow burn so be patient."

If you know me, you'll know that patience is not a strong suit of mine.

I sense she's right though. So often we think what we need is the quick ignition of the fire, when what will have more impact is the slow burn.

It's the slow burn that endures. It's the slow burn that slowly but steadily gains momentum. It's the slow burn that goes deeper than the wildfire that may end as quickly as it began.

The reviews are trickling in and it's so validating to read the feedback. Yes and Amen! The Amazon page FINALLY is set up the way I envisioned (phew!)

Today the Kindle version has already made the top 50 list of books in its main category, Women and Business, just from word of mouth. I'll take top 50 and I'm SO grateful for it. Wow!

My hope is that it makes # 1. My hope is that the book racks up tons of reviews. Yet even if it doesn't, I'll be ok because I'm all in for the slow burn.

As the saying goes, it's the slow and steady that wins the race. This is true for so many aspects of life!

I'm doing my part putting my book out there and marketing it way more than I'm comfortable doing. Because that is what I control.

The rest is in God's hands. And I know He's got me so that recovering high-achiever in me is not going to sweat it. Plus, I got my cadre of supporters rooting for me all the way!

I'm learning to operate by “grace over grind (thank you Shae Bynes) every day. I'm savoring all the small wins y'all!

And yes, I still need my peeps to spread the word, write reviews, follow and comment/like on LI or IG, post pics of the book, and of course BUY the book, not just for yourself, but for all the women in your life! You can choose how you want to support spreading the message that is the heart of the book: that you have the innate brilliance to shine your light to leave your transformative impact in your work arena and lead like a trailblazer!
